NiR, That worked. After I hooked up the midi cables to the XL-7, I launched the Massiva program, selected the arp pattern midi file first, hit enter and they appeared in the user arp section. I then did the same for the bank 2 and 3 extension presets for the TSCY ROM and they all appeared with no problem. It's seems that until the E- loader program can except preset mode, an outside sequencer will do the trick. The Massiva program (www.massiva.com) that I use, used to be freeware but I don't think so anymore but there is one that is still freeware called Midi-Ox at (www.midiox-com) which is primarily used for sysex transfers but has a playback utility in it called Midibar. Once you open that program(midiox), you will see what looks like a little red fish (it's actually the letters m & b)in the task bar. Click on it to open up the midibar utility, click on the folder icon and select the midi file that you want and click the "play" arrow.
