Of course the fact I get a free T1 connection and plenty of time to use it here at work doesn't hurt either. <<< Removed the old cubase and installed the new one, there was no need to reinstall programs every thing worked just fine. >>>That was my first step too, as was uninstalling Wavelab (kept getting messages that SX couldn't open my audio hardware), and un/reinstalling my sound card drivers. Tried everything I could think of, nothing worked short of the full reinstall, which was actually a good thing. I wanted to clean up a bunch of older plug in directories I wasn't using, and make sure that SX was my computer's focus, not VST. BTW, what do you think of SX so far compared to VST5? <<< rEalm
