I flashed my machine to 1.31 as soon as I got it out of the box...

Correct. Compared to what I can do with the Nord MicroModulars, or the
Pulse Sequencer or Max/MSP, the XL-7's sequencer is stone-age. I used
it for some simple fill-in patterns and stuiff I didn't have time to
port into the Pulse Sequencer.
