Here's something I noticed: I created a degenerate AUX envelope with all levels set to +0. Then I patched the envelope to control pitch. Since the envelopes are bipolar, I would expect all possible modulation types (AuxEnv<, AuxEnv+ and AuxEnv+-) to have no effect, since the envelope is flat and centred. In practice, AuxEnv+ does this, but AuxEnv< and AuxEnv+- shift the pitch. I can only assume that the envelope is not regarded as bipolar for the purposes of setting the modulation limits (in other words, the envelope is treated as +0..+100). If I get a chance, I'll try it on the Audity as well. -- nick rothwell -- composition, systems, performance -- http://www.cassiel.com upcoming gig at cybersonica, london, june 5th -- http://www.cybersonica.org
