Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi, everyone!

Just got an XL-7; main reason being to replace the sequencer on my 
ASR-10, but I'm finding the synth engine is top notch as well.  
Diggin' it.

Something I've noticed however:  The patterns don't retain my 
instrument data between sessions.  In other words, when I pull up a 
user pattern it loads up an entirely different set of sounds than the 
set I used when I recorded it.

Has anyone ran into this?  I tried RTFM but it was vague about where 
the instrument data is actually stored.  I guess I could build a 
multisetup for each song, but that seems like overkill.

Is there something I'm overlooking?
