With USB or not, the problem is that handling a stand-alone bank file is much more easier than a thousend of files of 1k. It is important to KEEP INTERGITY between both PATTERNS and PRESETS. A pattern with a wrong presets mapping is just shyte even if you worked 10000 hours on it. Have a try overloding default user banks with xl-1 bank files.
