Okey, here's a weird one. But remember, only because it's weird, it's not bad and unrealistic. I guess there's a couple of us who owns the XX-7 or Proteus 2500 that uses it as their main sequencer. I do. Sometimes I miss the visual overview of a software sequencer, the LCD screen is basically way too small to show the info I need. A piano roll interface would be useful while in Step mode... Perhaps something that shows the curves of controller changes [and so on]. This would of course require a bigger "screen". But building a new one to plug in to the XX-7 would probably be way too expencive. So (and here comes the weird part) why not use something that already exists. Perhaps a Gameboy? (Yes, it's crazy). Their new system has 65535 color screen and of course ability to connect it to other devices, and such stuff, and with some programming it might be fully possible to connect one to the XL-7 and use it's screen for visual overview. Okey, I don't really know if it's possible, but at least it could be a nice solution. I would buy it for sure. (And please, don't reply telling me that this post is completley stupid or something, because that, I already know)
