I presume the Banks you are referring to are the XL-1 Preset banks that
have been converted to use in an XL-7.

E-Loader does not currently support downloading Presets, only Sequences
(Song and Patterns).

In order to get the Presets into your XL-7 you need to download the MIDI
files off the web, open them with your sequencer of choice, and simply
'Play' them into your XL-7 as if they were a song. This will take a
while, so be patient.

Some things to be aware of: your XL-7 must be set to MIDI device ID 0,
which will be the default setting unless you changed it for some reason
(found in the MIDI Menu). If you have more than one Proteus Family
device on your MIDI network, e.g. a P2K, XL-1, MP-7 etc, it may be best
to power all of those OFF before downloading the presets to the XL-7.
Since all Proteus Family devices will accept the Preset download, you
could wind up overwriting presets in other modules unintentionally! You
could set each other device on a MIDI Device ID other than 0, but that
is more complicated and error prone than just shutting them down for the
few minutes while you do the downloads.

And remember, the Preset downloads will *overwrite* your existing User
presets, so anything that you have customized you should save *before*
downloading any new presets.

Enjoy,
Scott
