Don't get rid of your ES-1, for DNB you will definately want it for beats. I
re-bought an ES-1 to work with the XL-7. Also use it for drum sequencing.

Ok, guys. Thats what i thought. It's funny how things are. If
something is great, you never hear about it. if there's somthing
wrong with it you hear a LOT about it. I think most of the
negitive posts that I see refer to an older OS.

I have not played with this unit yet. Nor will I likely be able to
before I buy it. But that should be ok. I plan to replace
everything in my setup with the XL-7 and the RS-7000 .... so far
that seems like a very good idea. I'm sick of hauling racks of gear
and want to narrow it down to one rack and one suitcase, 5 minute
setup time, and rock the floor... Also, I encorporate Turntablism,
scratching, juggling, and cutting into my sets. It's only
imparitive that I have somthing that's compact and can easily fit
above the decks.

The sound of Emu Products is AMAZING. I can't wait to get one of
these things and load it with the XL, World, and err... any chance
i can get 8 slots ;) - And finally somthing that can replace my old
alesis sequencers.

ok, you got me excited again. I was a bit worried.... however...

I haven't heard much of the jungle/Drum&bass community saying much
about this unit... anyone?
