Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

1st I am a novice user so please bare with me.

I will be using the mp-7 for pre-production and once I compose a 
musical composition how can I send my song, each track still 
seperated to a hard disk recorder.  I am assuming via midi but will I 
have to sample the song or will the hard disk recorder recognized 
each track since it is sequenced?
