Could you add these to the feature request database on Yahoo?

Subject: [xl7] New OS Ideas and Questions
After spending the majority of my weekend on the XL-7, I thought of a few more features that might come in handy:
1. Shift Tracks, would be in the Pattern Edit menu, and would let you slide a track (or tracks, depending on how many are mutes are highlighted) forward or backward by ticks and beats, similar to the rest of the pattern edit options. Notes slid out of the pattern boundary would be deleted.
2. An option should be given while copying a track to let you select whether or not effect send amounts and Preset assignments should be copied as well. Currently only the MIDI info is copied, but it would be nice for arranging purposes if copying a track created a totally identical track, so that you don't need reselect these. Not a biggy, but definitely a timesaver.
3. New idea for triggers. A more flexible option, might be to allow users to assign not only a Preset and note number for each trigger, but why not a specific Arp for each button too? That would give you more flexibility than bts mode and would almost be the same as user definable RPS's, since you can create your own Arps to suit your needs. Currently, if you don't like the way a specific Part plays in a bts mode, you're stuck with using that bts anyway, since you can't change these. Make sense? Yeah you can sort of do this by assigning the arp to the preset, but to do it from the triggers menu would be much quicker IMO.
4. I would still like to see a way to keep a single measure in view while in Grid mode, having to wait for the pattern to cycle around in a 32 measure pattern does get frustrating. A Global menu option to "Enable Scrolling During Grid Record" would be the first step, and then you could perhaps use "Edit + Play" to move forward in the pattern, and use "Edit + Stop" to move backward.
5. A way to assign the "Revert To Saved Pattern" to a front panel button combination. Perhaps "Edit + Erase" or "Edit + Audition"? As you can see, I think Emu has lot of opportunities to apply button combinations and futher improve the hands on functionality ofthese units. :)
And a couple of questions too:
1. Still no word on why we can't create our own drum kits? I would love to be able to set up my own kits, with the waveforms I choose. So many of those included kits are almost identical\u2026
2. Can we get a list of what features are actually randomized when you perform a Randomize Preset via the save menu? Seems like only a few of the Preset menus are actually randomized. Makes sense with pitch related menu items, just curious what else is "exempt" from randomizing.
3. Any word on when/if E-Loader will support Preset uploads and downloads? Since upgrading to XP and the new WDM drivers, my Layla24 no longers cares for Sysex dumps and locks up when performing them. While this is certainly not Emu's problem, I'd like to know if we can expect this functionality any time in the near future, before I go out and buy a new MIDI interface, just to back up my Presets.
Any one else got ideas?
