Go to the Synchronization menu in Cubase, and make sure you set the Bar display to 0, not -2 as is the default. Also, make sure that teh prerecord setting in the Metronome menu is set to 0 as well. That should fix your problem with the sound starting too late. As for the problem with the pattern being too long, make sure your L and R locators are exactly at the beginning and end of the parts you want to Export. Still, I too occasionally get errors when I load the midi file into the Xl-7 and all of a sudden my 8 measure pattern is now 15 measure long (last 7 measures are blank). It's easy enough from here thouh, to go into Pattern Edit, then set the Pattern length back to the correct value and resave. rEalm ok... it works... the led is out.. all fine... but the next big problem: when I load it back to my XL-7, the pattern lenght has changed and soundz stared just after a while ( so the first steps are empty????)... well thats very confusing..... may you help me?pleaaaaaase.. think there is something not right at cubase... but what????
