In my case, I have a Proteus 2500 with no keypad, so I connect a midi keyboard on it and use the beats keymaps to start/stop. Was able to record my BTS patterns to the internal sequencer with no problem that way, was not able to record BTS via triggers from command functions while recording.... You can also use a sequencer like Sonar or Pro Tools to trigger the BTS patch and record either in the software sequencer or the built in sequencer. Works like a charm... But I still have not figured out how to bring in the different group/variations, still learning.... -Steve
