If they didn't make a sound when in Grid mode, how would you know what 
sounds you are sequencing?

My two cents here is this.  If the keys didn't make sound when you 
hit them in order to erase info it would be alot more usefull in a 
live situation.

same thing when selecting notes in grid edit mode.
