Steve ...
FWIW I moderate another Yahoo group and we've also been experiencing delays and quirks.

I'm not sure if its my PC, Internet or Verizon's changes to Yahoo! Groups.
(1) Several posts I attempted yesterday did not show up for several hours.
(2) A number of methods of attempting to post photos still have not resulted in the photos being available (at least that I can see) despite notifications that photos were posted. In fact, I cannot see 99.9 of the photos that I used to be able to see before whatever switch they did that now has three different headings within Photos.
This last part is quite odd, because Verizon has changed Yahoo! Mail so that it mines users e-mails and puts photos, docs, etc. in folders other than as attachments to specific e-mails. If I understand their new policy which I believe came out after Congress allowed privacy protections to expire, they now claim the right to go through any e-mails sent (and maybe received?) via Yahoo! and to do whatever they want, including marketing them to third parties--who are not bound by their so-called "privacy" rules.
JMO: It is quite distressing to see that private and potentially confidential photos, scans, docs, etc. are now being mined, categorized, reorganized, and apparently being used to make money and/or market after the fact.
Perhaps Verizon is now in the process of taking photos we have chosen to share with the group and might be doing something similar.
I would be very interested to know if I am the only who cannot (1) see the photos that used to be posted and (2) can no longer post photos.
