There was an ongoing project about the Custom ROMs for Command Stations or E-mu 2K platform in general. Not sure what's the current state of it, but at some points there were even some price quotations...

appreciate the links, I guess I am too old and need a box in front of me with wheels and buttons.
am hoping there would be a magical way to get someone to forge a rom card for the command stations with the Emulator II sounds, but I know this kind of thing has gone back and forth on this forum for eons.....
