Hi Ricard,
I haven't tried it - in fact I rarely use Song mode - but from what I see, for this mode you can define Event Source for each type of events, including tempo (pages 113-114 in manual revision G). It is actually the first thing being mentioned, while discussing Song Edit menu. Have you checked, what is the source of tempo changes in your Song?2018-01-10 8:13 GMT+01:00 ricard2010@... The message flow in this group seems to be dying down ... are people not using their command stations or are they by now fully versed so there's no need for interaction ...?
Anyway, I came across something yesterday when using Song mode. I was expecting it to be possible to enter tempo changes into a song, but I couldn't figure out how, and the manual was conspicuously non-forthcoming on the subject as well.
For patterns, there is a Conductor Track (labeled CT, in effect a 'track 0'), and the manual explains how to put tempo changes in that track. For songs, while there is also a conductor track (reached by pressing TRACK- in the Event edit menu, just as it is for patterns), I can't figure out how to enter anything in it. Tried pressing REPEAT to create an event but nothing happened, and tried setting the machine to record mode and adjusting the tempo, hoping that the tempo changes would be recorded, but that didn't accomplish anything either. Checking the main track (in song mode there is only one, labeled 01) it's possible to enter several different event types, including track mute/unmute, but not tempo changes.
It seems strange to me that such a powerful sequencer would not have the capability of having tempo changes within a song but ... the manual doesn't mention it ... so ... has anyone else managed to get it to work?
