The preset is saved when�you�engage record.�It's saved�as data, pre start�of the pattern.��If you make 16 dummy tracks for�a one measure pattern with the desired presets assigned to the tracks�, record without notes and then save. The next time you select the pattern it should load all of the presets, volume, and pan information without�having to press start. As Steve mentioned you can then uses this as a template for further setups.

Yes. Also, you might want to test inserting presets as data to see if that is enough dummy data to prevent tracks from going into an empty/default state when saved. I was wondering about that. I mght test it myself and possibly post some template examples.�
