It could well be the download/extraction of zip file or I have run out of space?
I'll try again as the p2500 patterns sounded expertly done compared to the other command station patterns.
It was funny how the first pattern failed then the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th were fine. The 6th onwards looked like they were transferring with no failure messages but just weren't registering on my mp7. It could be full memory?
I have
bank 1 000-127 -mp7 patterns
bank 2 000-127 - mp7 untitled sequences and my patterns
bank 3 000-127 xl7 patterns ( 95% of them )
bank 4 000-80 px7 patterns (95% of them )
bank 5 001-005 p2500 patterns ( 5% of them )
bank 6 empty
bank7 empty
There's plenty of patterns for me to play around with now and xmix before further midi remixing on my rs7000 before recording the midi into my new electribe now.
My plan in the future is to buy the new electribe sampler and create some quick ideas/soundsets on the mp7 and sample/sequence into the electribe sampler.
But just in case I can't see the wood for the trees, I'll be happy just to play the mp7 on it's own again ( new found love ) and transfer some of the resulting midi into the 'normal' electribe at a later date.
Thanks for your help, I always felt I could load these in if I could update the OS :-)
I do have one burning question.....
I'm sure I was able to record midi into my old xl7 on more than one channel years ago but now when I record midi from my rs7000 say, if I have quite a few midi channels playing at once into the mp7 it will only record into one channel ( the channel I'm on at the time ).
Can you clarify this for me as I've played around with the rechannelize input settings and no success, is there something I'm not doing with the other settings to make this happen if possible.
I'm starting to think I've messed up my mp7 because I was able to record superbeats out and back into the mp7 for a few days then it didn't like it!?
