I don't remember that post, otherwise I'd look for it.  Balma has a presence at gearslutz, with a focus on sound design ideas using the P2K synth engine.  You might look there and even drop him a post if you can't find the one you are looking for.

Hmmm. I do recall either doing or reading something about reading past sample boundaries; not sure if that was in a manual or in the post you are recalling.
