1    track levels are all pretty high, oughta work
2    unfortunately there are no patterns in this thing, so cannot compare
3    lost me there, but the presets work (have sound) by themselves
4    the eprom in thing reads proteus 2000 / expansion sound rom / MP-7
      the presets in the unit have names like: becky boise / platinum / reaper......

here is a weird thing that goes on since i pushed the patterns from eloader onto the machine:
i get this message: 01A  V127  P00 A:P     ????
                                        (not installed)
if i turn the knob or hit a button, the preset names show up. here is where it get's weird
i made a preset in the first pattern slot (00). the presets will sound in that one, but not in the
patterns that i loaded into the mp7 from eloader, even though they have names and all the info...

tried loading the first 10 patterns again, resetting the  mp 7, same thing
