As far as I can tell, the Beats function only works
when you stick to the channel the beats are on. Switch to another track/channel
and it you have a regualr drum kit. If you want to incorporate the beats in
your stuff, I think we're going to have to 'resample' them through the midi
I/O.
The corrolary question would be - how does one now
access a BTS patch without trggering the BTS? Is the only way to do this by
disabling the BTS riff in the preset?
