I am pretty sure I got e-loader to work on a windows 7 and a windows 8 (both laptops, 64 bit). I seem to recall on win 8 it failed at first and then win 8 asked if I wanted it to try some special mode. If I am remembering correctly, I said yes, and it worked. I thought I had posted this before. I will check my son's computer later to verify. Steve
