I'm a new xl7 user and my original plan was to run e-loader on an old xp laptop. Unfortunately, that laptop would not recognize the xl7, and as I was trying to figure out why, it just dropped dead. The laptop was old and crap and I have no interest in trying to revive it.
With no way to back it up, I was going to just sell the xl-7 right back off, but today I installed prodatum on my mac, and it all went so easily and got me so excited about just how deep this synth is, that now I'm rethinking.
With prodatum so easily editing and storing patches to my computer, is there some workaround to save patterns and sequences as well? I had thought about just recording all the MIDI into Logic periodically, and keeping my fingers crossed in between. Is that my best solution to not being able to run e loader?
