Yes, VROM in PX-7 distorts regardless of configuration.

I've checked OS versions, played w all global and individual settings... I'm at a loss. I think it's not releasing voices or something.

Yes, I can get VROM to work correctly by itself in the XL-7, but it will not show up when the XL ROM is installed regardless of configuration. I think it's because the XL ROM is a Flash Version.
