Thanks, Scott!

IMO this is not off topic at all. So, translating as I understand, you've created a TB MIDI Stuff (the program) patch or template that is an editor for the E-Mu. Correct?

Thanks for the work and the 'heads up.' I'll take a look at the app and at wist.

Strangely enough, it just so happens that I was looking into Lemur earlier today.

What we really need it to get Jan to create an IOS version of Prodatum.

Sorry, you did not miss a discussion.

TB MIDI Stuff is an ipad app. I have noticed that when vendors are lagging on getting an editor out for some synths, the hoi polloi have created their own using this app. Sort of like ctrlr but for ipad. More like touchosc, actually. I have also noticed that the accompanying posts often come across as an ad for the app, which this is not. This is my first patch and it tests out although I did not reimport it and re-test.

It does make me kick myself for not doing it sooner. It would basically be no effort to make a screen with all of the knobs on it so that you could edit multiple channelslive.   Editing the non-knob values is still the same old drill although prodatum and proteus work to an extent.

I am using an iPad mini, a 30 pin to lightning adapter,an iconnectmidi2 and a proteus 2000 or mp7.

As an aside, the two editors, proteum and prodatumboth work great with the interface and proteus 2000. I got the 2kto make patchediting easier, which it definitely has because of these tools.  You can send the files to the CS if you want to use the sequencer.

As for wireless, there are wireless midi options on the ipad, I think the main one is called wist. It's a little off-topic but I've found the ipad sequencers liberating.

I probably missed a discussion on this, but, Scott, would you or someone else describe exactly what is required to use this app?

For example, is it a free standing app or a template requiring some other software on the iPad?

What else do you need? Do you require something like the peripherals from IK Multimedia to run a midi cable from your ipad?

Are there any wireless solutions where you can have the E-Mu attached to a device via midi cable and the device can receive commands from the iPad wirelessly (or through your network)?

I'd like to get a mental picture of all entailed in addition to the iPad and the synth.

Thanks.

Hello,

This email message is a notification to let you know that

File : /Appz/EMU4.tbms
Uploaded by : swhiteheadca <scottewhitehead@...>;
Description : TB MIDI Stuff Ipad App panel to control volume, cutoff, rez, attack and release on the first four MIDI channels and MIDI A-H on channel 16, This presumes you've got CH16 set up as your effects and are using patch cords for Send 1-4 A/B. Also, you can change the patch on CH 1-4. Feedback most welcome.
