I had a mixed experience with Prodatum on my MP7.  I could (sort of) move patches from ‘ROM’ to ‘USER’ but not edit them IIRC.  I say ‘sort of’ because when you drag a patch to a slot, it overwrote other patches in unexpected slot.  I think I got Proteum to work once for patch editing, but not again.

I’ve never tested with my Proteus but I’m hoping that I will be able to create patches there and move them to the other since the software is written with the P2k in mind rather than the CS’s.

I am in the same situation, but I have the MP7 not XL7, but for sure we have the same symptoms.

 

Mainly I want to use the prodatum for easy saving presets in computer and also the randomize function, can you check if you can use the randomize function, does this change the sound? Mine not….

 

I use prodatum V 1.0, the second one don't work at all with my MP7…

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
