How about this for a scenario:
Take the ROMs out of the XL1 and the MP7 and put them in the P2k? (Three slots, right?) Can one use the MP7 as a controller in line with the external sequencer? Will it boot empty? Will the XL1? Coming from a synth background I didn't get the ROMs at first but the sounds are so full of content and they pitch so well that they've become beautiful oscillators for downstream mangling.
