RE: Problems in pattern trigger mode

2013-11-11 by <ricard2010@...>

To clarify, it's not arp trigger, it's triggering ordinary patterns, or rather selecting them as the next pattern (the pattern doesn't change immediately when the buttons are pressed, rather it is queued as the next pattern, just as when selecting a new one using the wheel and pressing enter to confirm).

Neither, it's the pattern trigger mode, whereby you can select predefined pattern numbers using the track buttons. It's much faster than trying to hit the right pattern no with the wheel and pressing enter.

Are you talking about arp trigger mode or track mute/unmute mode?

If arp trigger mode, I'd check the trigger settings--the light coming on and then going out seems more like the trigger is in unlatched mode.

Attempting to press the track button in order to try and toggle the track on causes the LED to come on and go out as usual, but the track still doesn't play. Only after selecting another pattern and then back again does the track play again.

This one is really annoying, as once the machine gets into this mode I'm not sure how to get out of it. Once I had success changing patterns "normally", i.e. using the wheel, but I'm not sure if that's a sure-fire workaround or it just happened to work that time.
