If you go into global there are settings for velocity curve and also for each preset of you turn the amp -> velocity knob that will change the velocity of the pads.

One more. It seems to me that the pads of the XL7 aren't very sensitive for playing with different velocity. Notes sound more or less at the same volume level. Changing velocity curves doesn't change much. Hitting really soft or really hard doesn't do much.
When I play an external keyboard (AN1X synth), notes are played also much louder than with the pads.
Stange behaviour... Is there a setting that I haven't found yet?
