Yes, I probably could, by sending the dump from one computer and capturing the MIDI output on another, if nothing else. I'll see when I can get around to doing it. It doesn't seem to be sent for each received patch, more like every fourth or something of that order.

I wasn't aware that there were error messages sent via sysex; some sysex protocols use an ACK/NAK scheme but then the whole protocol usually involves a two-way handshake all the way.
