Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Okay, we have the xx-7s, which are essentially the same box, and there are
the xx6 keyboards, which look like they're functionally identical, and
there are the 2000 modules and the 2x00 (forgot the exact number) which
looks like a rackmounted xx-7, minus the rubber pads.

I take it that many sounds and presets work exactly the same on each of
these gadgets?  (And why all the different names?)

Anyway, is there an overarching users' group for ALL these things?  'Cuz if
they're written intelligently, the same patch editors should basically work
on the whole family, right?
