Yes, keeping a Command Station is much better than selling one.  lol

Bruno and Matt - I was already in Song mode; Every part was recorded  
in one pattern, and I thought I'd be able to record a manual muting of  
the tracks in that pattern once I brought it into Song mode, instead  
of creating multiple variations of the same pattern with the changes  
already in place, or extensive editing.  I thought I had found a  
clever little shortcut, but alas!

DF - You hit the nail on the head.  I was prepared to do straight  
audio bouncing as a last resort, but the MIDI / DAW scenario you  
mentioned, sounds like the perfect solution to get the parts exactly  
as I want, with some wiggle room to try out different arrangements.
