Hmmmmm. If the "module switching" [not sure what that is] only happens when you press play, not when you dial up a new pattern, then I don't think the source of the problem is the pre-roll sysex data that gets sent. Out of curiosity, what "modules" does the eiii switch out of and what mode does it switch into?
