Let me see if I understand what you are looking for. I know on some gear, you can set the midi receive channel for each part of a multi-timbral synth. In other words, with a 16 part multi-timbral synth that normally defaults such that each midi receive channel is the same as the part number, you can change the receive channel independently. Thus synth parts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 could respond to data on midi channel 1, etc. for example.

Off hand I don't recall seeing such a setting in the E-MU sysex manual.  Let me look. Hmmmm. I don't see anyway to do that via sysex parameter manipulation.

Perhaps a work around would be a device that takes incoming midi data from one channel and sends it out on multiple channels. I am guessing a single UART arduino would be able to handle that.
