Hi guys,

is there any way to create a multi-preset equivalent of setups also
known as "combi", "multi" or "performance"? What I need is a way to
have multiple presets responding to the data received on the common
MIDI channel, probably with some note range limitation. While it can
be achieved with clever layers programming and/or linking, it's
impossible to have every element using different arpeggiator settings
(or having no arpeggio at all). Actually, the only brand I know, which
makes such things possible, is Novation (at least both Supernova &
KS-5 are able to do this). I can have combis in my Korg Z1, but only
one element can use arpeggiator. I know that someone have already
reported, that turning arpeggiator on a presets linking to other
preset(s) actually arpeggiates everything in the same way, according
to "master" preset settings.

While I'm OK with this limitation in my studio, it would significantly
facilitate gigging with my PK-6 only. I love my Z1, but sometimes such
feeling can be a heavy burden...
