Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I was under the impression that one of the OS upgrades (1.31, 1.32 or 2.0) fixed the problem of not having the specific ROM intended for the mobo. I think the metronome defaults to a particular preset--possibly User 127^3. 

Check the addendas for those ROM upgrades and if I am remember correctly (i.e., it is a user slot), put a percussion preset there which works for you.

As I have said before, my memory is doing some automatic housecleaning, so don't quite me on this. But who knows, maybe this tidbit--which I never use--is indeed correct. A few weeks ago I pulled out the title and author of a book I had read approx 35 years ago!!!
