Re: [xl7] Re: Substitute Rack for ROM?

2012-05-29 by Mariusz P

Hi Jammes,
yes, the roms are interchangeble. I use 4 different roms in my PX-7 CS with no compromise: PHATT (Mo'Phatt), XROM1 (XL-7), PROM (P2500/PK-6) and PX-7.

Plus, if you find or have sb do conversion for MP-7 you can use rare 5banks keyboard (MK-6 and XK-6) versions of Phatt and Xlead roms.

Good luck!
M.

Please disregard the Ctrlr reference... I was thinking of my synth editor replacement. ;)

The ROMs I'm most interested in are hard to come by, but I see the rack versions they're based upon are plentiful and cheap. Could I connect, say, an Xtreme Lead-1 to my MP-7, as a "workaround"?
