I think $325 for just the basic ROM is expected from a music store/chain, but I don't think anyone would pay that much on e-bay. Of course, it has 4 ROMs, $325 would be a very good price.

I second the idea of keeping it. We're here to help you get through it.

What kind of music do you do/want to do? 

Do you multi-track building of tunes, or live performance?
