Try changing the arp setting to M in the main screen.

Hey all, 
I have an XL-7 and am having trouble using the master arpeggiator,
I followed the manual to the menu, scrolled through the names of the patterns, but the musical pattern doesn't change, after I press enter, etc...only the name of the pattern does. I maybe have to reinitialize the instrument? Does this eliminate all the preset patterns and voices, or just restore them to the factory defaults?
