Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Not using the USB connector on the MP-7; my understanding is that does NOT work for upgrading OS, you have to use the MIDI connectors on the MP-7.

I'm using a USB MIDI (U2 Midi) interface.  It is recognized by the PC.  MIDI In & Out connections to the MP-7 are correct, with USB end of cable going to USB port on the PC (front).  Since the download partially happens, I think the USB MIDI interface and connection are OK.  Thanks!
