Re: [xl7] Anything I need to know about S/PDIF?

Maybe the other way around? I know I was running my interface at 44.1k and I just plugged in the PK7.

The only issue with S/PDIF that i recall reading about was that S/PDIF only worked at 48kHz, and not 44.1kHz.

This is probably not an issue for anyone anymore, and i haven't actually tested it so i can't say if it's true or not..  but if you have some issues, check  this.

Not a problem if you have more than a couple as spares, but monster guarantees their cables, just take it back where you bought it, with the receipt, and they give you a new one. (Lifetime warranty). I have 4 dead hosa spdif (also too many to count of the other hosa). No returns just hoping one day another unit will work with them. I usally tear the others (1/4" and rca's) in half and use the good parts together.
