Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi new to group, cut my seq. teeth on MMT-8's then RM1X's now after years of being frustrated w/the RM1X bad O.S. I'm trying to get my head around this MP-7 (which I am already enamored with) but...
 The MP-7 is now triggering itself? the low C is firing off w/the midi indicator lighting randomly on whatever channel/trk is selected for use/editing,I have reset and rebooted to no effect.
I could sure use some help.
