I am glad you mentioned this. For the past 5 or 6 weeks, my soft on/off button didn't seem to be working (P2500). I thought it was wear and that I wasn't pressing it "just right." However, I have noticed that when the unit sits for a while and I then power up with the hard switch, the E-Mu typically boots right away. Maybe it is a sign of the start of a power supply problem.
