CORRECTION: I spoke to soon. Take a look at the PK-6 manual (or the MK-6 manual) at www.emu.com (use the legacy gear choice in the drop down in the support section after choosing manuals/software). "The foot pedal jack on PK-6's rear panel can be programmed to perform a variety of functions. The foot pedal input can sense either 0-5 volts on the ring of a stereo jack or a foot pedal with the potentiometer wired as shown at left." One of the functions is conversion of the voltage to CC4!!! "In this mode the Foot Pedal is routed to the "Pedal" PatchCord source in the Preset Edit, Cords menu. (See pages 159 and 166.) It is also transmitted out on MIDI Continuous Controller #4 on the basic MIDI channel." Thus, if your expression pedal outputs 0 to 5 volts as stated in the manual, you can indeed use CC4/Pedal in the patchcord section to control various parameters. Hope this helps. If it is a "volume pedal," I saw schematics to turning it into a midi controller based on an arduino. (I don't have the link gandy, but if you are interested, I can dig it out.) > Steve > > > > --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "filipovske" <filipovske@> wrote: > > > > Hi, > > Is it possible to plug expression pedal into e-mu mk6 (it's actually command station without sequencer, and with keys:), and control filter cut off ?? > > s it possible to assign it to send midi cc via midi output ? > > > > > > thanks in advance > > >
