I should also menton I would be willing to trade this for another midi pad 
controller like the mpd or korg series if anyone is intrested.

Switching roms is simple under the unit is a few screws undo them and it open a 
small bay like a cpu ram area and you just pull open the pins and slide them in 
as easy as adding ram to a cpu. As for the midi issuse that sounds serious I 
have never heard of it and would think it would be a internal problem with the 
board way beyond my knowledge.

I have an mp7 but it has this problem the midi keeps flickering in and out. U 
heard the fix for that? How do u switch roms.

Taking offers , I should mention it DOES NOT have the mp7 rom in it I did sell 
the rom a while back so please take that into consideration.

I have a MP-7 in great condition all knobs, buttons, reack ears even a lamp for 
it but was only using it as a midi sequencer and controller because for some 
reason it stopped reading my rom card. I do not know enough about this stuff to 
try to go in and fix it beyond the normal remove clean, blow reinstall so if 
anyone needs a mp7 that works or for parts just make a offer you may even be 
able to get it to run just fine I jus do not have any use for it now and figured 
I would post here first before I tried to ebay it. I am not looking for much 
just a resonable offer in the US only please. Thanks..........

Ahhh I missed how the drums on this thing sounded . glad to be back and running.
