Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I tried it out recently. Since Proteum and Prodatum already exist, I
didn't even try P2K, but started with older (and then expected to be
well-supported) synths I use. It failed to support Korg Z1 and Yamaha
SY77 properly; however, I was able to receive & transfer bulk Sysex
dumps from them using their native interface and MIDI Ox.

Frankly, MIDI Ox is for free; and SoundQuest is quarter of a grand. Go
figure. For me it was a definite no-go.
