Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am wondering if anyone on this list has had any success getting SoundQuest MIDI Quest XL editor/librarian software to work with the Command Stations, especially in Mac OS X. It only has profiles for the Proteus 2000 and the various module variants, but I am wondering if that can still kinda/sorta be used with an XL-7. My XL-7 also has the Composer ROM installed, so in a pinch it can pretend to be a Proteus 2000. I’m interested in possibly getting this because (a) it also works with two of my other hardware synths (Novation KS4 and Yamaha AN1x) and (b) it does the whole “editor as an AU plug-in” for Logic Pro that would be really useful. I am downloading the demo now, but any anecdotes would be helpful.
