It works with an E-MU Xmidi 2x2 just fine even with old usb midi drivers that were never removed on my system. It's either operator error or your midi interface doesn't play well with Prodatum.

Well I had the exact same problem. Try refreshing the auto detect a few times. Find and delete the config file in prodatum folder (/users/../Appdata/Roaming) and be sure to use the ROM data that are available as a separate download. It did take me several attempts, deleting the config file each time.

I've tested with several interfaces and it only works every time through a Novation x-station. With other devices prodatum is quite picky. I can't figure out why. The developer said it could be a sysex issue related to old usb midi drivers, but...
