Agreed- let's remember what the Command Station is, and what it's not.
(nice haircut he's got)

1) a top-tier HW sequencer, aligned with others as the Alesis MMT-8 and the Yamaha Qx/RMX series.
2) the penultimate ROMpler-based sound-machining mechanism that exists.
3) an MPC/ASR kind of velocity-sensitive playing surface, also with 16 knobs that can be assigned.

To answer Bruno's question- all a ROMpler sound is is a base waveform that is looped and combined with sub/over tones and FX.
The CS series is incredibly capable, and to ask if it suits a particular genre or not sounds like you're looking for preset sounds; which is fine, music production has moved in some very drastic ways over the last 10 years; but most of us here (still using ancient hardware) are more in to the weirdo aspects.
My "main statement" stands; that with a Control Station and a sampler you can essentially do anything :)
